Choosing to die.

Watched a very moving and now controversial d altzeimers ocumentary on the BBC last night (well iPlayer for myself).

Was "hosted" by Sir Terry Pratchett and titled Terry Pratchett: Choosing to die.

Pratchett is a sufferer of Alzheimers and is a campaigner for peoples rights to have an assisted death in their own home here in the UK.

Very touching hour of TV. The anti-death/ pro-lifers have come out in force and complained to the Beeb stating the program only highlighted the good points in assisted suicide.

I say watch it and make your mind up for yourself.

Take caution as you do witness a man (multi millionaire hotelier and guardian of the Smedley's tinned goods fortune Peter Smedley) pass away in the arms of his wife. If your a softy like oneself you may also have a trickle of tears rolling across the apples of your cheeks....
